The Arts Event Licence is a City of Vancouver pilot program for occasional performances in studios, warehouses, and other unconventional event spaces without full building upgrades. Thanks to valuable participation and feedback, the City of Vancouver has made mid-pilot improvements to the program such as faster processing times, lower fees for event series, and more.
Note: A limited number of licence fee subsidies are also available until the end of the pilot program.

Vancouver’s creative community and the City have until April 2015 to test the program and make more changes. Over 40 successful events have been held under this program to date.
